Meet Sara Thompson:
Sara Thompson is an Associate Attorney with Miskel Backman LLP, practicing in the firm’s Land Use and Zoning group. Sara assists in all aspects of the development process, including comprehensive land use plan amendments, environmental permitting, platting, developments of regional impact (DRI), due diligence, and preparing development applications for submittal to local government agencies.
In 2019, Sara graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In 2022, Sara earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami. While pursuing her J.D., Sara received the Excellence in Legal Advocacy Award for her efforts in helping the surrounding Miami-Dade community through pro bono legal work. Additionally, Sara served on the Board of the University of Miami Business Law Review as both the Senior Writing Editor and the Symposium Editor.
In her free time, Sara enjoys trips to the beach, spin class, and traveling.
