Meet Beth Schrantz:
Beth Schrantz is our Director of Planning Services who joined the firm’s Land Use and Zoning practice group in 2011. Beth works closely with clients, technical consultants and government agencies to facilitate development at the local and regional levels throughout South Florida and brings a collaborative approach to the development approval process. Beth is well versed in the development review process from the due diligence phase through final land use approvals and permitting. She is particularly experienced in: researching City and County Codes as they pertain to site plan application and review, zoning district requirements, and the entitlement process; investigating site conditions as they relate to a property’s potential for development; performing due diligence review of governmental files related to property entitlements; interpreting and applying land use regulations, zoning codes, and comprehensive plans at the municipal and regional level; coordinating and managing multi-disciplinary project teams throughout the development review process; preparing applications, narratives and justification statements for development applications, including site plans, variances, waivers, special exceptions, zoning code amendments, and land use plan amendments. Beth has worked extensively in Palm Beach and Broward counties and in the majority of municipalities therein.
